Expert Refurbishment in Peoria, AZ

Home refurbishment in Peoria covers more ground than a simple cosmetic update. It means bringing older spaces back to a functional, modern standard — refreshing surfaces, updating worn interiors, and correcting the small problems that build up over time. Peoria's housing stock ranges from older ranch-style homes near Old Town to newer builds in master-planned communities, and each property has its own set of needs. At Modern Design Construction, we work through each phase of a refurbishment from start to finish. That process-driven approach matters because refurbishment projects often reveal conditions that need attention before finish work can begin. We serve homeowners across Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Sun City, Tempe, Avondale, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, Laveen, Anthem, Waddell, and surrounding areas. If your home feels dated, worn, or simply not working the way it should, refurbishment is the practical path forward. Contact Modern Design Construction to talk through what your space needs.

After living in this house for over 20 yrs our kitchen needed to be brighter and more modern looking. Derek and his crew did an excellent job installing new counters, backsplash, and all the other upgrades we had envisioned. Great communication, prompt service and cleanup. We wouldn’t hesitate to contract with Modern Design Construction again for future remodeling!

Derek did a complete gut and reconstruction of our kitchen and breakfast nook and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. He helped take our nice track home kitchen and make it custom home worthy! Derek expanded our island giving us more room for appliances and entertaining, added brand new cabinets that were extended up to the ceiling. We also added a whole new row of cabinets in our breakfast nook. To tie the whole project together, he updated our fireplace and added a matching mantle. The results speak for itself and he did an amazing job!

I finally have my dream kitchen. I initially wanted just my peeling cabinets replaced. Derek from Modern Design Construction LLC sent a picture of an updated much roomier kitchen. From start to finish, the hardest thing I had to do was pick out colors, flooring, knobs, a faucet and stay out of the way. The plumber, electrician, painter and flooring people all did exceptionally work. I highly recommended Modern Design Construction LLC. I am very pleased with my new kitchen.

We highly recommend Derek for your next remodel project. Our project included a major Kitchen redesign, as well as tile and cabinetry in two Bathrooms. From our very first meeting with Derek, he brought creative design ideas to help us reimagine our our spaces to achieve the bright and open concept we were looking for. This was a large project requiring multiple trades which Derek sourced and managed. It all went very smoothly and through each step, Derek worked closely with us to ensure every small detail met our expectations. His suggestions for tweaks here and there resulted in not only beautiful ascetics but, the best possible function as well. Thank you for everything Derek; you are a fabulous craftsman and a great guy! — Lisa Rae & Tom

Derek is very professional and quickly responded to my issues with the plumbing install. I would definitely recommend his company.
