After living in this house for over 20 yrs our kitchen needed to be brighter and more modern looking. Derek and his crew did an excellent job installing new counters, backsplash, and all the other upgrades we had envisioned. Great communication, prompt service and cleanup. We wouldn’t hesitate to contract with Modern Design Construction again for future remodeling!

Our Story Built with care,
Built with care,
finished with precision
Modern Design Construction LLC has been building and remodeling homes across the greater Phoenix area since 2017. We started with a clear focus: deliver quality finish work and honest craftsmanship on every project, from a single kitchen refresh to a full home renovation. That focus has not changed.
We specialize in the work that most homeowners notice first and remember longest. That includes custom cabinetry, kitchen and bath remodeling, flooring installation, countertop installation, and finish carpentry. We also take on larger scopes, including home additions, casitas, and accessory dwelling units. Whether you need one room updated or an entirely new living space added to your property, we have the experience to handle it from start to finish.
Our background in both rough construction and finish carpentry sets us apart from contractors who only do one or the other. We manage the full build process in-house, which means fewer handoffs, tighter timelines, and a finished result that holds together the way it should. We are a design-and-build team, so we can help you work through the planning side before a single cabinet or floor plank is touched.
The owner's approach to every project is straightforward: start it right, finish it right, and take pride in the progress along the way. Seeing a space transform from a rough idea into a finished room is what drives the work. That mindset carries through to every crew member and every job site.
We serve homeowners and property managers across Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Grande, Tempe, Avondale, Waddell, Litchfield Park, Laveen, Anthem, and Buckeye. If you are in the West Valley or greater Phoenix metro, we are likely already working in your neighborhood.
Modern Design Construction LLC holds Arizona contractor license number 345287. We stand behind our work and our word on every project we take on.

How We Work
What you can count on
Licensed Contractor
Modern Design Construction LLC holds an Arizona contractor license, so your project meets state code from start to finish. You get documented accountability on every job.
Design and Build
We handle both the design phase and the construction, so nothing gets lost between planning and execution. One team carries your project all the way through.
Custom Cabinetry
Our finish carpentry background means cabinets are built and fitted to your exact space, not pulled from a catalog. The result is storage that works and looks intentional.
Full-Scope Renovations
From kitchen and bath remodels to full home renovations and ADU additions, we manage the complete scope under one roof. You deal with one crew, one point of contact.
Flooring and Countertops
We install flooring and countertops as part of a coordinated remodel, not as an afterthought. Surfaces are selected and installed to work together as a finished whole.
Consistent Communication
You hear from us at each stage of your project so you always know where things stand. No guessing, no chasing down updates.
