Expert Cabinets in Peoria, AZ

Cabinet work is one of the most visible changes you can make to a Peoria home. Whether your kitchen has dated oak boxes from the 1980s or builder-grade particleboard from a newer master-planned community, the right cabinetry changes how the space looks and how it works every day. Modern Design Construction handles cabinet installation and replacement for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and built-in storage areas. Peoria homes range from older ranch-style layouts in the central neighborhoods to open-concept floor plans in communities closer to Lake Pleasant. Each setting calls for a different approach to cabinet layout, storage configuration, and finish selection. Arizona's intense sun and dry heat put real stress on cabinet materials, so choosing the right construction and finish matters more here than in most climates. We serve homeowners across Peoria, Glendale, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tempe, Avondale, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, Laveen, Anthem, Sun City, Paradise Valley, and surrounding areas. If your cabinets no longer fit your space or your life, contact Modern Design Construction to get started.

FAQ

Cabinets FAQ

Common questions about cabinets in Peoria, AZ.

Can you replace just the kitchen cabinets without redoing the whole kitchen in Peoria?

Yes, cabinet replacement can be done as a standalone project in Peoria homes. We work around your existing layout and replace only what needs to go.

Do I need HOA approval to replace cabinets in my Peoria home?

Cabinet replacement is typically a cosmetic interior update that does not require HOA approval in most Peoria communities. It is always worth checking your specific HOA guidelines before work begins.

What areas does Modern Design Construction serve for cabinet work?

We serve Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Sun City, Tempe, Avondale, Waddell, Litchfield Park, Laveen, Anthem, and Buckeye. If your home is in the greater West Valley or Phoenix metro, reach out and we can confirm coverage.

Can you install cabinets in bathrooms and laundry rooms, not just kitchens?

We install cabinets in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and built-in storage areas throughout Peoria and surrounding communities. Any room that needs organized, built-in storage is a candidate.

Why do cabinet materials matter more in the Peoria area than in other states?

Peoria's desert heat and strong UV exposure can warp low-grade cabinet materials over time. Choosing construction and finishes suited to Arizona's climate helps cabinets hold their shape and color much longer.

After living in this house for over 20 yrs our kitchen needed to be brighter and more modern looking. Derek and his crew did an excellent job installing new counters, backsplash, and all the other upgrades we had envisioned. Great communication, prompt service and cleanup. We wouldn’t hesitate to contract with Modern Design Construction again for future remodeling!

Derek did a complete gut and reconstruction of our kitchen and breakfast nook and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. He helped take our nice track home kitchen and make it custom home worthy! Derek expanded our island giving us more room for appliances and entertaining, added brand new cabinets that were extended up to the ceiling. We also added a whole new row of cabinets in our breakfast nook. To tie the whole project together, he updated our fireplace and added a matching mantle. The results speak for itself and he did an amazing job!

I finally have my dream kitchen. I initially wanted just my peeling cabinets replaced. Derek from Modern Design Construction LLC sent a picture of an updated much roomier kitchen. From start to finish, the hardest thing I had to do was pick out colors, flooring, knobs, a faucet and stay out of the way. The plumber, electrician, painter and flooring people all did exceptionally work. I highly recommended Modern Design Construction LLC. I am very pleased with my new kitchen.

We highly recommend Derek for your next remodel project. Our project included a major Kitchen redesign, as well as tile and cabinetry in two Bathrooms. From our very first meeting with Derek, he brought creative design ideas to help us reimagine our our spaces to achieve the bright and open concept we were looking for. This was a large project requiring multiple trades which Derek sourced and managed. It all went very smoothly and through each step, Derek worked closely with us to ensure every small detail met our expectations. His suggestions for tweaks here and there resulted in not only beautiful ascetics but, the best possible function as well. Thank you for everything Derek; you are a fabulous craftsman and a great guy! — Lisa Rae & Tom

Derek is very professional and quickly responded to my issues with the plumbing install. I would definitely recommend his company.
